Rates & Terms & Conditions

Scope

Belrando organizes and leads hiking, snowshoeing and biking tours. They are summarized below by the term "hikes".

Registration / Conclusion of the contract

Registration can be done by e-mail or by means of a booking form.

After registration, the participant (hereinafter referred to as the "Participant") will receive a written confirmation from Belrando (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"). From this moment on, registration is closed. These general terms and conditions therefore form an integral part of the contract between the Participant and the Organizer.

Conditions of participation

Good health and proper equipment are required for all hikes. With registration, the Participant confirms that he/she fulfills the physical and technical conditions according to the requirements of the ride. If the Participant does not meet these conditions, the Organizer may decide to exclude him/her before departure or during the hike. In case of exclusion for the above reasons, no refund will be made.

Groups

Participation in group offerings requires each Participant to be tolerant, adaptable and understand the different abilities within the requirements of a tour. The Organizer reserves the right to exclude from the hike Participants who cannot integrate into the group, without the right to a refund.

Services

The services included in the price vary depending on the offer. Details can be found in the description of the hike.

Program Changes

As a rule, hikes take place in all weathers. Weather conditions or the condition of the Participants may result in changes to the program, area or itinerary at short notice. The Participant accepts any changes made by the Organizer in this regard. All additional travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the Participant.

If payment is not received on time, the Organizer may cancel the contract and charge a cancellation fee in accordance with the "Cancellation by the Participant" section.

Cancellation by the Participant

  • Cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the hike: 100% of the fee

Cancellation by the Organizer

If the Organizer has to cancel the race for reasons of its own cause (e.g. illness, accident, family events, etc.), neither party will be obliged to pay any remuneration or compensation to the other.

If the Organiser has to cancel the race for reasons relating to other factors (e.g. due to bad weather, adverse conditions in the mountains, disruptions to transport connections, etc.), the customer must pay the daily flat rate for the agreed days as well as for the time required for the outward and return journeys.

Liability & Insurance

The Qualified Organizer offers the participant the greatest possible security. However, the particular dangers of the outdoors and the mountains mean that a residual risk cannot be excluded. By registering, the Participant expressly acknowledges these risks. The liability of the organizer is excluded in the event of slight negligence, fault of the participants, fault of third parties and force majeure.

The Organizer is not responsible for the theft, loss or damage of the participant's equipment or the rented equipment.

The Participant must be in possession of valid liability, health and accident insurance, also for air rescue.

Data protection

All personal data of the Participant is treated confidentially. The Organizer uses the data of the Participants for the processing of registrations and for the sending of its own newsletter. The data will not be passed on to third parties.

Unless explicitly stated by the Participant, the Organizer reserves the right to use all multimedia content produced during the hikes for promotional purposes.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

The contractual relationship between the Participant and the Organizer is subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Chessel/Switzerland.
