I was born in Louvain, Belgium, came to Switzerland for the first time when I was 14, discovered Chandolin and fell in love with this magnificent village in the Val d'Anniviers, surrounded by its majestic imperial crown of 5 peaks over 4000 meters high!
A few years later, during my studies in Tourism, I became a volunteer in the mountain hotel business, spending all my vacations in Switzerland, from the Grisons to the Berner Oberland, via the Vaud Alps, and then, in 1994, I met my Swiss husband in Leysin!
The mountains, Lake Geneva, the Rhone plain and the Riviera became part of my daily life, and today, after all these years, I still marvel every day at the variety of landscapes, traditions, local produce and 1001 possibilities that Switzerland and our beautiful region have to offer!
After 20 years in multinationals, I now work part-time in an IT company. Passionate about mountains and nature in general, hiking, including with my dog, but also skiing, horseback riding and above all people, I love to share good moments of discovery and exchange in a friendly atmosphere. I look forward to meeting you at an upcoming "Belrando" activity!

Born in Ostend and raised on a farm in the Plat Pays, I've always been close to the sea and nature in general. The mountains, on the other hand, were part of another world.
When I was 25, I saw the Alps for the first time, from the plane on a flight to Milan. It was my discovery of snow-capped peaks and deep valleys. Then I came to work in Switzerland and the mountains came closer to me :-). I found the characteristics of the sea in the mountains, they're so different and yet so similar!
Working part-time in a multinational company near Lausanne, I take every opportunity to get to know Switzerland and its nature better. Still every day I discover with enthusiasm the secrets of the mountains, forests, animals and nature's craftsmen.
